ALJazeera impact team published an article titled: “Emissions possible: Streaming music swells carbon footprints”, on 28th February 2020. The team interviewed Dr Rabih Bashroush (EC Lab Director) in relation to the energy consumption of streaming media. He also discussed some of the opportunities that we could adopt to reduce energy consumption while enjoying our favourite online shows and music.
