IP EXPO Europe is Europe’s number ONE IT event for those looking to find out how the latest IT innovations can drive their business forward.
Dr Haider (EC Lab Research Fellow) will give a talk on “The energy consumption of digital infrastructures”. The talk will be within the Blockchain Theatre, on 3rd October 2018 at 1:40pm. The presentation will highlight the impact of distributed ledger technologies (such as Blockchain) on the overall energy consumption of ICT worldwide, and will discuss some of the saving opportunities in data centres, based on the findings from the EU Commission funded EURECA project.
